Bluefin

Hi

I have a Mini One and am interested in the Bluefin Superchip. However, I wanted to find out if you have to modify your car before you will be able to achieve the 33bhp as quoted by Superchips. I'm not really looking to add an induction kit, exhaust etc ... but to just change the oem panel filter along with adding the Bluefin. Will I still achieve the 33bhp just by changing to a pipercross panel filter and bluefin.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

if your MINI has 1 mile on it and its only just down the round you can bluefin it, just plugs in under the steering wheel, very easy simple and can be done to every ONE

Would it be better to run the car in before remapping, or is it fine to install it on a new engine?

you can install it on a new engine although like all car thinks you should run everything in like the engine, brakes, clutch etc.
So you can do it on a brand new engine although i would recommend you be a bit slow for the first few hundred miles.
Hopefully someone with experience of new engines will reply

The 33BHP they claim is without any other mods Thats just their remap adding the 33BHP, It's well worth the money, the results are fantastic!

I cannot locate the diagnostic/service port on my 2006 One Conv. There is no port on the cover anywhere below the steering column or further under above the pedals.

on my 2002 one (non-conv) it was directly under the steering column just below the shelf under my steering wheels, isnt as far as the pedels and needs a screwdriver the open the port.
Hope this helps?

Hello
The bluefin had always the same remap or can be refresh with new reprogramation (by means of payment) ?

For example: I make the reprogramming of my car (MCS JCW) with bluefin and later I put one manifold, a air filter,a intercooler. He is possibel with same bluefin to make the update of software for the hardware alterations?

Best Regards

Hello
Nobody knows to answer or to help me?

By the way, somebody has in JCW a remap of the Superchips (bluefin)? Do you advise blufin or is better to keep programming JCW?

Best Regards
