Hi Guys ,we offer full 12 mths warranty on the parts & labour we supply/include in our conversions. BMW warranty the rest of the car (they have too).
GTT conversions can easily be reverted completly back to stock. Interestingly we are finding BMW dealers who are taking GTT modded MCS 's in in PX and putting on the fourcourt 'as is'- even listing the GTT upgrade in the spec!. We dont even scratch let alone damage the stock pulleys during removal. And you get all the old bits back (unless we/you forget ) In which case most of them go on a shelf in a box with your name on.
Best Regards Roland GTT

Depends if you want a max power car or a car with heritage and history attached to it

Sure they're fast, faster than a standard Works car but at least you can safely go into a BMW garage with any problem and say fix it, without crossed fingers of them turning round and saying "mmm, modified, sorry sir we don't do modified!"

Interesting point Roland makes re. GTT cars being taken in on px and listing it as part of the spec. Not one dealer I've spoken to recently about such modifications would entertain such an idea, most wouldn't even entertain the idea of covering a warranty or even TLC on such a car, let alone sell them on the forecourt.

I think a bit of perspective should be kept here

Well as you know, Rydale Sutton bought my Hartge from me & kept
the badging etc & sold it as such

PS spoke to your better half last week at Shell in Bromsgrove (day before GTT 220 fitted)

with a car with 30k on the clock I'd be looking at the GTT kit, the only thing that would put me off is yes they warranty they work, but they are in one location in the whole country, unlike if you have a JCW MINI are all over the place

When I reached the point of tuning my MCS I did the usual route of filter, exhaust, chip it, then thought where do I go now? I had problems with the chip, and I had always wanted a JCW, so I traded my old MCS in and got a new MCSC so it could be JCW pretty much from the start, never looked back really

The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive?

My dealer knows my Works kicks an unusual level of butt, due to Rolands work, and has yet to make any kind of warrant/TLC fuss.

I've been told by a mechanic at the dealer i bought my car from, that in his opinion the works kit is a waste of money. So thats put me off the works kit for life. If your going to be doing 30000 miles a year, you wont get any residual benefit from the works kit at all. Some dealers don't mind if you have any aftermarket tuning done, although they are usually fairly local to the tuners.

good point well made. I know Roland has a terrific relationship with his local dealers, and the London dealers dont seem to mind Hartge conversions, especially as Hartge have a BMW history anyway.

Dont here much of Hartge conversions these days? They were just about the first to market werent they, some 3 years or so ago.....
