| Amiga 500 to PS3 20 Years | You'll be looking at around 240BHP I reckon. So plenty of mods to do. Very difficult to get the 0-60 of FWD cars down due to traction problems. BHP needs to go up exponentially to reduce 0-60 times really. ![]() It was acceptable in the 80's |

| 8/10 on the Stoogometer | a user on M2 called MiniDSW2005 is running a 17% reduction pulley, MyMini ITG intake, JCW exhaust, MTH Tuner V7 file, and 16" Toyo T1R tyres, and got a 0-100 time of 5.6, and consistently gets between 5.7-5.9 secs. He recorded it using a Beltronice FX1 Black MCS |

| ICMINI | Reason for the 6 seconds The reason i'm looking for a 6 second figure is to beat all these holden and ford guys (i think only you australian guys will know what i'm talking about) who always and i mean always every time i pull up next to them have to try and drag you , they **** me off and i'd like to be able to beat them for once or give them a dam good run for there money and to see there stuned faces as a little mini flys by there big V8 6.7 litre tanks. ![]() |

| 8/10 on the Stoogometer | i've done that a few times. Most drivers can never match the 0-100kph times that are quoted by the manufacturer, especially in rear-drive cars, and especially with powerful holden/fords, as they have serious traction issues i've noticed. Just get a pulley, intake, and ECU, and some grippy tires like 215-width Precedas Black MCS |

| polizei -NAM and Focaljet | Ummm twincharged! That would not really be the realistically cheap way of doing it, but it sure would be fun! I have just a stock MCS right now and could not imagine a twincharged pushing over 300hp.....that has got to be insane. -Cody "Gizmo" - 03' IB/B MCS! |

I'm not saying it's won't give you an idea but when you a talking about differences of a few 10ths of second, it won't define the car that's covered the greater distance. |

Offline | The biggest challenge is getting off the line. You'll have to feather your throttle a bit so there won't be lag. Unfortunately that will give your interest away to your opponent, but in a serious race it's a necessity even with a pulley. Then mind your shifts, you can easily go to 30mph or more in 1st and 60mph in 2nd without hitting redline, so you're conceivably done before getting out of 2nd gear. The biggest problem is knowing where to stop. My guess is you'll both be doing 100mph in about 9 seconds before one of you lightens up. I know it's unrealistic, but I'd recommend saving this kind of behavior for the track. Make it interesting, tell the guy next to you at the stop that the looser pays for fees. Then go have some safe fun. Btw, if you're serious about a pulley, consider improving your complete flow of air through the engine. For 25-35 whp, a CAI, a reduction pulley, cold plugs and a free-flow cat-back exaust make the whole car more responsive for a relatively small amount of money (~$850US). If you want a little more horsies, an ECU remap smoothens it out, and/or a header lets you pollute more effeciently for not too much more money. After that you get into the real money. '06 MCS CRWS |

Offline | Its not only more horsepower that will make your 0-100 faster, weight is also a crucial factor, the less weight the faster your car will be. try removing everything that isnt needed from the car, spare wheel, back seats, passenger seat, carpets and you could also try carbon fibre body pannels. this will make your car faster for free (apart from the carbon fibre) |

Offline | At the end of the day, there is every possibility that you'll try to drag a ford or holden that is also modified and you'll still loose There are street legal and street looking XR6 Turbos around that are capable of doing sub 10 second 400m starts. How silly are you going to look if you try to take one of them on? Remember, there will always be someone else with a faster car than yours ![]() Jan 06 MCS Checkmate |
