I've got the GTT intake and the JCW strut brace

I had to modify the heatsheild with a dremmel to fit the brace. Roland can supply them ready modified if you haven't already bought one.

I've a OMP upper strutbrace (and lower); at the site of the airfilter/battery it's a little higher.

Yes!!!
The upper picture is mine MINI (One with standard suspension) and lower picture is a MINI (Cooper S lowerd with Leda suspnsion-kit) of an another member of a dutch MINI-club. We both have upper and lower strutbrace (and both 17" S-spokes) and we both feeling the difference. Mine own experience: steering a little bit lighter but sharper. You can feel a better cornering. The other guy with his Cooper S confirmed this.

At home we have another MINI One (of my brother) and this MINI has 15" rims and no strutbraces. When I drive his MINI I can feel the diference! It's not such corner-taker like mine MINI.

See it like a shoe box: when you take the lid off you can the sidewalls move from eachother, when you put the lid on the box it will be more stable and firm.
