DIY Borla, magnaflow or what???

I have a mini cooper 1.6l i would like to change my exhaust, can someone recommend me any exhaust?

The magnflow system sounds nice on the Cooper.
Haven't heard a Borla on a Cooper only the MCS.

I had a Remus on our old Cooper, it was quiet under city conditions, but came alive when pushed

I bolted up the Borla Aggressive... Very nice system, I immediately felt the change. Sounds great.

I later put on a KN Typhoon intake and it eliminated the hesitation and throttle respone and slightly cleared up the rough idle. The blower whine is so distinct now, very cool...

Rule #1 - let your engine breathe !!!

I've got the Borla on my Cooper, and everybody loves the sound. There are some in-car video clips linked in my signature that will give you a bit of an idea of the sound (but usually with too much wind noise in the way).

In the Go-Kart Track Video, there's no back seat in the car at the time, so it's a little louder in there than normal.
