I know the JCW cold air intake opens a flap at 4500rpm and sounds cool.
Does anything happen below 4500?

Not that I know of, the exciting bits always happen over 4.5

Bellow 4.5 you know the flap is closed but the filter itself is allot larger than the original.

In my opinion my car seemed to be a bit smoother after having it fitted but i am not sure of the technical improvements
