Offline | Heres a clip of the following combo on my 53 SWorks: GTT mani and fast flow cat, JCW exhaust with resonator cut out (baffles went caput) and replaced with a straight pipe: http://www.adeadguy.net/deadguy/hobzy/soundclip.wmv Cost me £80 to have the pipe welded in and made up from scratch. I'm assuming it'll be even more mental with the decat in next Track day ![]() |

Offline | DILEMMA OVER Had GTT manifold fitted today Left home at 4am The journey down wasmixed some nice weather but around SOGGY country the heavens opened and boy did it rain puddles and lakes all over the road. Then it cleared up and became nice again.Met Roland this morning at his workshop. Nice display of shiny bits in showroom. He took me into Blanford where I spent the rest of the morning looking around and waiting in suspense Apparently mine was the hardest one Roland had done Nuts etc were truly rusted solid so it took him a little bit longer than anticipated.Roland picked me up about 12.45pm and you could here the difference straight away. Although he did not push it too hard. Got back to work shop ( in the rain again) payed up retrieved the old manifold at set of home. By this time the heavens had opened and 30mph was all about you could manage windows up so as you can imagine I was a bit frustrated. The heavy rain continued until Oxford then it eased off but still raining The roads up to this point were more like rivers After Oxford managed to get window down at try it out a bit The sound is fantastic like a cathedral organ in full song When foot is downWhen you back off the sound in the cabin is little or no different to the Works setup. It`s only when you put the pedal to the metal does the music begin. There is also a more pronounced pop and crackle on over run Also it seems to pull a bit better but that could just psychological RAKEY YOU GOT TO GET YOURSELF ONE OF THESE ![]() Before you lose all your HAIR |

Offline | Kept JCW back cat etc. As stated in my post there is little or no difference inside with windows up when cruising No drone in fact you would be hard pushed to tell the difference to the Works system. Thats were the similarity finishes, put your foot down and HEAVEN or Hell (depends on your disposition) arrives The sound is AWESOME they now you are coming , been and gone Cost as per web site plus fitting not exactly cheap but worth it ( cheaper than the JCW manifold and cat) I can certainly reccommend it but that`s my opinion. Some may not like it If you are looking for a better sound when booting it and a quite refined sound when cruising this is the way to go Here endeth my sermon ![]() |
