anyone have a bluefin?

does the bluefin work with regular coopers ? does it make a noticeable difference in performance. also they only sell it in the uk. would that be a problem for me u think.

I've heard plenty of good reports from One owners - not so sure about the Cooper though.

Now driving a 2006 Brabus Roadster Coupe

There's much less of a power increase on the coopers. You'd just end up with the same bhp as a bluefinned mini one.

Yes it will work, but the power increase will be less noticeable than on a One. See this post for the power and torque graphs.

I'm sure you could get a Bluefin shipped to the US, the only complication might be that the Superchips warranty might not apply.

Looking at your photos, I assume you have other mods so you may get better results with a custom remap from a specialist tuner who can optimize things for your car.

I have a bluefin installed on my 2001 Cooper, don't think it has added much in terms of BHP, but it has got rid of the annoying flat spots and made the thottle a lot more reponsive.

PS. My car is also fitted with a JCW exhaust and filter

my mini one is fitted with the bluefin they make the car so much smoother and the power its given my one is excellent (142bhp) on standard petrol

thanks for all the input. you guys are a big help.i need to make more power and i'm starting to run out of options. i guess a remap of the ecu probably is the best way to go. thanks again
