bluefin on a one

hi,
After much deliberation i went ahead and purchased a bluefin for my wifes one today!
nipped in to see the boys at superchips in buckingham and after acup of coffee and a bit of paper work i came away with my box of goodies!
once at home i installed the new map in no more than 5 mins,a task so simple my son who is 12 could have done it blindfolded!!!! on test drive responce is slightly better at low revs below 4k but above wooooooooow a grin inducing surge that took our min above 90 in third and still pulling, fantastic, luckily still a few straight country roads without speed cameras!! to sum up £299 to radically change the mini, one to make it safer in overtaking situations,(2) better fuel consumption when tiddleing along and (3) seriously good fun when the need arises.,don't be frightened about install it's a doddle
just do it!!!!!!!

A re-map also makes the Mini One into a much more capable and confidence inspiring motorway car too!

sounds good..are you sure you arent a representative from bluefin? I've been thinking about getting one for my ONE, what are the issues with insurance and bmw servicing/tlc?

farmer

no not an agent for bluefin but a cynical ol'farmer that doesn't normally enthuse about something unless its warranted.Had a quote from flux insurance with mod @£270 fully comp ,think you have to change back to original setting for tlc work, but hey 5 mins work, seriously if your prepared to drive it at over 4k revs you'll have a serious blast, hope this helps your decision. vacey
