B&M Short shifter and warranty

Just wondering what the official BMW stance would be if I fitted a B&M short-shifter to my JCW MCS?

Say if I had a gearbox or related problem, could they turn round and say my B&M has been putting extra strain on the parts, and so it won't be covered under warranty, etc.?

Just like any other aftermarket part ...

If the fault is attributed to an aftermarket part, the fix won't be covered under warranty.

Oh hiya!

At the moment, the only major aftermarket thing will be the eibach rear anti roll bar...that can't exactly cause many problems can it

I can't imagine they'd be able to pick a fault with that. How have you found it on the Cooper? Does it actually make much difference?

And how about a nice cold air intake? Apparently there's a group buy taking place.

Nah I'm definitely keeping everything engine related as standard

I got the rear bar fitted at the same time as the coilovers, but I think it does make a difference - makes the car flatter, more stable and more chuckable.

Hello
The rank of the Shift Shorts is easy in MCS JCW? Or it has of if making some alteration?

Best Regards
