Offline | For those interested, I've just had my Cooper S converted. No loss in performance but a massive increase in economy. Details: Car does 33mpg on LPG compared with 36 on Petrol this equates to 66mpg (almost) Diesel owners beat that! I can supply more details if required ![]() |

Offline | I'm definitely interested. Did you get one of the conversion grants (assuming they are still available). Any warranty issues ? It's not how fast you go that matters BUT how you go fast. |

Offline | I'm glag there's interest, tonite I'll post full details including pictures of the conversion. Warranty from BMW on the 'LPG Affected' parts is voided BUT this is replaced (£200) by a warranty by the installer. Took 2 days to install. |

Offline | ok here are the details: 1.Cost? £1250 + £200 warranty 2.Is the warranty affected? yes see the letter for details (easily replaced by additional installer warranty £200) 3. Is the TLA affected? No 4. Is the performance affected? No (well ok a bit) 5. Is the econmoy affected? Yes (down by 3-5mpg) 6. How much is LPG? 34-36p per litre (hence = 66mpg!) 7.
