England Bluefin and induction kits!!

Hi, I own a mini ONE which i'm extremely passionate about! thing is, i want more power and a throaty sound! i've read that bluefin is great but i am petrified of damaging the engine! can it cause damage??? does anyone know of bluefin damaging engines?? I'm also looking at getting an induction kit i've heard the viper kit is good but cannot afford that and the bluefin. How about the standard pipercross kit? would that work well with the bluefin, help and reassurance would be much appreciated! thank you.

Im running the bluefin remap on my MINI One and have been since March this year, nothings gone wrong and it's certainly one of the best mods ive done! It really makes a difference to the MINI One!

Aswell as that induction kit wise ive got a JCW Cone Filter which cost me £99 in their sale and sounds amazing!

The filter was from www.johncooper.co.uk

Then in their motorsport section, the filter recently changed and is now £150ish (I think) Fitting was dead easy once the old airbox was out!!

Ive got a bluefin and its the best mod i've seen available, it makes it soooo much faster and also makes it sound slightly better when it is at high revs, ,,,its definitely worth buying

O alsp have the Pipercross plus Bluefin, fitted by LOHEN. the filter make a great snarling noise under acceleration, especially over 4k revs.

Sounds good, i'm definately thinking about going for the bluefin pipercross combo next week! my ONE is pretty nippy now so im looking forward to giving it a bit more zip with a nice sporty note! now you mention it, i think i've read before that the jcw cone is made by pipercross!! but a bit more expensive! i'll go for the pipercross then.

The first mod I carried out on the girlfriends Cooper was the K&N induction kit, then Bluefin (I know it doesn;t add much on a cooper, but it all counts). I've also put a Miltek exhaust on as well and would highly recommend it. I'm not sure if there's any more power, but the exhaust popping on decelleration is the best bit..
