| MINI2 Newbie | As far as I know you can simply rip out all the electronics and stuff from your standard JCW filter-housing, make a hole in the back down the bottom and you have the same effect. Okay, maybe you should close the hole in the roof of the filter housing for the flap so the air does not go her own way... |

Offline | I am very tempted. i think the next time I go testing I will disconnect the electrics and vacuum and tape the flap full open. See how much diference it makes. |

Offline | Remember any difference will be in sound and performance - under 4500rpm. - performance over this rpm will be unaffected. all other factors remaining equal. MY05 MINI COOPER S - DS/B - GTT OPTIMISED- THANKS FOR THE RIDE - ENTER THE R56 JCW |

Offline | if i was selling something i would say the same but from what ive read the GTT seems better suited to cars with a higher BHP figure than a stock model which i think the ALTA would be better suuited for as if i were to go for the GTT i would consider a re map and better plugs and larger throtle body ![]() confusion, madness and disorder .............. my work here is done |
