| MINI2 Regular | Air Fuel Meter Has anyone ever installed one of these on a mini? I'm looking at fitting one. I currently have a miltek decat manifold so the second lambda sensor is pretty much not used as far as i'm aware. I'm unsure if i should fit the kit that costs £100 and use the standard lambda sensor or go for a wideband lambda sensor and remove the second standard sensor out of my exhaust as it's rather redundant as far as i can tell now there's no cat fitted. any information would be very useful thanks |

| Flying Scotsman | Hi I have not fitted one to a mini, but have on several other cars. The meter is just a volt meter, so has no problems being connected to the car's original lambda sensor... just make sure you get the right wire.... Many sensors are heated... not sure if MINI's is... no worries either way. You will be able to pick up the wire at the ecu... which should be easy! I am looking to do this soon... where are you mounting the gauge? I have bought the factory dual panel... nice and cheap and looks original... which I guess is cause it is! DJ |
