almost blew up the old cooper s today. hoses i bought for oil cooler were a tad small (i.d.).
so what to do ? you cut the impregnated fiber off the exterior so the hose will go on the push on fitting? NO! NO! NO! THIS LEADS TO DISSASTER!!. THE PROPER HOSES CAME IN YESTERDAY SO like any good procrastinator i figured to put them on tommorro. well the hose blew on the way to work this morn. guy pulled next to me screaming and pointing . really pretty funny . he was right out of his t$ts ! i got it shut down just as the oil light came on . proper hoses are on and neadless to say all is cool. the dude screaming at me was worse off than me ; i really felt bad for the guy . very cool of him to care so much.(he needs a cooper i think ). he said freakin' flames werre going down the roadway (HA!!!!) . he said the car was dragging a flaming tail!! wow. i sh$t bricks till i fired it up a while ago. all is cool . so ... use only push on hose with push on fittings kids.AN-8 DOES NOT NECESSARILY MEAN AN-8 HOSE WILL FIT .
