Iginition Upgrade

Here are my questions, i'm looking at upgrading my ignition (coil pack, leads and plugs) Im looking at either the Screaming Demon Coil Pack or the MSD Coil Pack, could someone advise me on which one is better?

They recommend you upgrade your leads when purchasing the coil upgrade packs, i currently have Magnecor KV85 competition leads, will these work with the new Coil packs or do i need better ones?

Which plugs are better to use when upgrading your ignition system and will you notice any performance gains. Currently i have a full Xforce exhaust system (manifold, high flow cat, cat back) pipercross airfilter, 15% pulley magnecor ignition leads.

I know this is propably so simple but can someone explain how i would change the spark plugs and gap them to .60" They say with the new coil packs you can gap them to .060?

Thanks Guys

Perry

Ignition Upgrade

Thanks MiniFr34k for your response,

Stock coil pack could be ok then, i'll just change the plugs. I just heard that you could get about 4-5bhp out of changing the pack, plugs and leads and at the end of the day any extra power is good. By the way what is the model number of the NGK plugs i need.

Thanks

Perry

I've had my spark plugs changed a few weeks ago to NGK iridium ones supplied by GTT - car is definately sharper & much peppier now, so worthwhile imo.

I don't have them yet, but I've been informed that the part number for the (colder) NGK plugs is: NGK BKR7EIX - 11
