Im after a good short shift kit and wounderd what the difference is between say the b&m and Alta, and then say the cheaper £30 items you see on ebay.I only want to buy once and wounderd what is the best. or if there is a difference at all,cheers foz.

I have the Helix short shift kit. I have a 04 MCS, but my shifter linkage is actually the 2003. My 04 was an early build. I found out the hard way that the shift kit didn't fit. I took the car apart and then had to put it back together until Helix sent me out another.

Helix Minisports - New MINI Cooper and Cooper S performance parts and tuning

Not sure if they ship internationally or not. Contact them and find out...

B&M and ALTA both make them for are cars int he uk and lohen supply them personlay im going for the B&M in a month or so but its all down to personlay preferance
