well if correct - that is showing approximate 208HP@ the wheels.

usually you can allow for around a 15-20% loss from the flywheel on FWD cars. so that would take you up to around 220-225HP @ the flywheel. - What work have you had done?

South Africa

just the usual stuff:
- ALTA CAI and Water sprayer
- 15% reduction pulley
- Unichip
- NGK Iridiums
- and the duck tape thing

How do these figures compare?
Good, bad average, considering mods?
Thanks

Duck tape thing?? - is this for the vents around the underside of the bonnet to direct airflow?

For those mods I'd expect a little less than that - maybe around 210HP @ the fly and 195HP @ the wheels - but there are loads of variable - altitude, humidity, ambient air temp etc etc - the list goes on. - The main thing is that it drives well

95 octane on US rating or UK rating. 95 on US is actually nearer to 98-99 in UK rating.

Sounds well high....was there forced cold air direct to the intercooler as well as the front of the car. We did a RR with boith and the cars ran very very high BHPs....probably because of the super cooled intercoolers. Those mods are usually good for 205-210 from most MINI tuners therefore 185-195 at the wheels.

Sounds like you have a tight car or the rollers are out or thae reading is false due to excessive forced cold air on the charge cooler.

South Africa

just phoned the tuner, they use a normal fan blowing into the front of the car, no air temp conditioning or anything funny like that, he did mention mention though that its the highest power output they've ever seen on a MCS, so im not complaining, probaly just picked up a gem couple years ago...
