MTH intervention with Bluefin Chip

Would having a MTH chip aready installed on my vehicle, prevent my new bluefin console from downloading it's software to the ECU?
I'm having problems with it completing it's download!!

Many thanks

I think the Bluefin needs to see the standard cooper S map before it can work.

My MCS didnt have the standard map on and the bluefin wouldnt load , i sent it back to Superchips explaining the problem and i got it back a couple of days later and the bluefin worked first time

I would think that trying to add one algothrym to another would ask for problems. The method of "chipping" is to change the algorthym (program) on the ECU, to change its parameters.

I doubt whether Bluefin could be applied to a ECU wich has been re-mapped by another program. I have Bluefin and understand that the ECU has to be STANDARD for it to apply. To use another "chip" progam would be like trying to run 2 programs on your computer using the same memory locations. They would "crash". I'm sorry I cannot answer your question regards the sound kit, but I dont see why a ECU remap should affect the sound kit, it you mean the CD/Radio. If you mean the induction kit then it doesnt matter what ECU program you use it is totally different.
