Problem with my FORGE top strut brace

My forge top strut brace seems to be to high where the brace mounts are at each end,and have made the bonnet have two high spots ,it clearly digs into the sound deadening material on the underside of the bonnet.,Is there anything i can do? as the brace is top quality.
