I don't have any personal experience of the MINI Speed head - Although I'd be pretty suprised if it was produced in house - there aren't many companies doing in house head work anymore. The key element to more power on any head is the quality of the finish on the short side radii (the inside surface of the curve of the port immediately on entry to the port from the combustion chamber) - obviously this is combined with other factors however the short side radii consistently prove to be the key to a really good head. The MC head flows pretty well as standard but they can certainly be improved, although one should be careful not to over smooth the inlets as this massively reduces the boundry layer theory efficiency of the port and whilst it results in improved flow the fuel partical suspension is compromised (TBT) and power isn't really gained. The exhaust ports though do benefit from a polished finish. The engines also respond well to polished combustion chambers, although clearly this should be cautiously approached and the head skimmed accordingly to result in maintained compression (or marginally increased).

If you are thinking of purchasing that and shipping it to canada I would suggest that you research a good quality head shop locally and investigate their prices first as whilst I'm sure the MiniSpeed product is very good I'd be hard pushed to believe its such a quality product it couldn't be achieved locally for you.

Thanks for the response Tim, i have found what appeared to be a bargain over here and was looking for someone with experience with Mini Speed.
