Offline | This morning began for me at 4am, M62, M6, M5, M4 and A350, all the way down to GTT in Dorset, I took my time driving leisurely and arrived just after 9am, though nearly didn't get there Just ouside Blandford I stopped well over to the left to check my directions, looked in my mirror to see a Corsa heading towards me......and the passenger frantically telling the driver to go around me instead of through/over me So I arrived and met Roland who confirmed everthing to be done, GTT 220+ kit (I already had CAI) GTT tensioner pulley GTT limit stop GTT +1% crank pulley GTT oil catch can GTT strut brace I then weakened and also added the GTT intercooler I was dropped off in Blandford and made my way by bus to Poole where I spent a few hours killing time before heading back to await the call to say all was done. Roland came and picked me up and showed me what The Weasel was now capable of, thank god he trusted my brakes (which are about to be changed too )Back at his workshop he showed me what had been done and after settling up and putting all the spare bits in the boot I nervously set off After a few miles of normal driving I kept hearing something when I released the clutch, like the pedal was loose when I took my foot off Rather bewildered by this I stopped and kept pressing the clutch down and it all seemed fine, then I heard it again......it was the cover from the diagnostic port hanging down So drama over I set off again, though most of the time I was in traffic or just on the M-way not attracting attention to myself, so haven't had much chance to test the power, but it's definately there Apart from the upper range power, it's transformed the car when driving 'normally', it's just so easy and effortless now. I just need some more time to go and play on roads I know better to be able to compare the before and after effect, but so far I'm very pleased but knackered Thanks again Roland ![]() ps, a hairdryer sorted the other bit out ![]() |

Offline | Hi Rob, 5 hrs there, I drove down slowly, 70ish, stopped a couple of times and hit roadworks too, 40 mph with specs cameras I wasn't in a rush though.Coming back was just over 4 hrs without doing any silly speeds The bill will depend on exactly what you have done, mine was minus some bits I already had and then plus brace, brakes and a drop of oil, as it was a bit low ![]() |

Offline | Excellent stuff, nice little shopping spree you went on there! Got mine booked in for Saturday 14th - days at work are dragging like mad at the mo! ![]() ![]() Just out of interest, what made you opt for the +1% crank pulley? Did you Roland sell it to you on the day, or did you already plan to have it fitted? James |

Offline | The time will fly by......that's easy for me to say I'd read about the pulley allowing the engine to rev more freely and talking with Roland decided that whilst it was being changed I may as well go for the +1% as this would give slightly more power also. A few days later Rickys'S (member on here) put a new unfitted pulley up for sale which I bought, so that I could then use the money saved for other things......then Roland announced his new brace, so that helped pay for that ![]() |

Offline | GTT crank pulley is lighter than standard so less energy sapping - not robbing you of HP or using effort to spin it. Slight increase in sizes give the effect of reducing the pulley without the putting all the risk at the bottom end or on the supercharger. Lot of people run -17% S/C pulley with a +2% crank pulley - which gives the effect of a -19% (-18.5%) but with all the potential problems of slippage etc on such an extreme pulley. Offline | Roland and his crew managed to do my JCW to level 1 plus a few extra bits on a Saturday morning... I had to get their for 8:45, which for me is so early in the morning on the weekend its almost Friday. Love the under bonnet bling. I have the strut brace turning up tomorrow with an oil catch can. Car makes be grin every time I go for it and around a track it was awesome. You're gonna love it ![]() |

| MINI2 Master | You wont regret it GTT220 makes a great difference and the 1% pully pulls the torque down the rev range a little. As everybody says it makes the car what it should of been shame the timing isnt differnt as I would take you for a test drive if I wasnt going on holiday tomorrow unless your free between 07.30 and 10 and close to Bitton? |
