Just after some advice: I was looking at the works sound kit for my cooper. Would you recomend it?! Obviously its for the noise but is the throttle response improved? It seams a lot of cash, is it worth it?

But i would like to say to any Mini one owners reading this that i just sold my one which i had superchipped, and yes that mod was worth every penny....

i had the superchip 33bhp (i think) chip. It made the car more powerful than a cooper and fantastic fun.

Worth every penny

Best thing I did to my Cooper, completely transforms the car.

Completely transfomred my 03 Cooper when I had it fitted. So much so that I've had it fitted to my new Cooper, couldn't imagine having a Cooper without one. New Cooper is only three weeks old and the engine is still a bit 'stiff' but you can certainly feel/hear the soundkit. I guess you've already checked out the comments in the soundkit register thread.

Don't pay too much for it though, some dealers are charging £700+ for it, should be nearer £600 these days.

ive got a chip on my ONE and want to fit the sound kit but im getting mixed views on whether BMW can fit it,
does anyone have a YES or a NO.

Not aware of any reason why it can't be fitted to a one, the question is whether BMW will fit it. The only bit BMW really need to be involved with is the remap, any mechanic can do the filter and exhaust. Are you planning on using the JCW remap or sticking with the chip you already have? If your using the one you've got just get the soundkit supplied parts only and find a mechanic to fit it (or DIY).

sound kit will not be fitted its for the cooper only and if you have been bluefined it rmaps your ecu & you dont want that £300 up the swanny

having it done to my cooper the momnet i can affird it as ve driven 2 cooper demo cars with it one and its such a nice bit of kit
