Offline | some questions about superchargers Hi everyone! i currently dont own a mini cooper but my wife is currently looking at buying a mini cooper s, probably a 04 or 05. i own a pontiac grand prix GTP which is heavily moddified and i know about the supercharger on my car but had some about the one on the S models. I just want to confirm it is a eaton m45 correct? does anybody have any inlet and outlet pics of one? What diameter size is the stock pulley and what size are most aftermarket ones? (GTP's go by size of the pulley for ex: stock size is 3.8" diameter, im currently running a 2.8" diameter pulley on mine.) could anybody measure the snout diameter for me? i was curious if any of the pulley kits for my car will work on one of these m45's. the supercharger on mine is an eaton m90 and i know it shares the same snout size as an eaton m62 found on the chevy cobalts. thank you everyone and i hope to be the owner of a mini cooper s soon so i can get started on modding it for my wife! she wants to start doing road course events with me! Thanks, Joel |

| Flying Scotsman | Hi and welcome.... All MINi references are for % reduction under stock... so diameters are a bit meaningless on here! There are a few threads comparing more details though, so a search will find some info, as will a quick trip to NAM... The most common reduction is 15%, which is generally accepted as the reduction that retains reliability while giving a sensible boost over stock. DJ |
