| Flying Finn | Berlin Mini tuners? Does any of our German speaking friends know any knowledgeable & reliable tuning shops around Berlin/Germany? I am looking for sensibly priced engine kits for MCS. I have been trying to get info about Hamann and MK-Motorsport, but at least their main reps are all located either in Southern or Western Germany - which is quite a ride from my present coordinates. Thanks! |

Offline | I know this is a very late answer, but never the less..... I don't know of any good one in Berlin - but if you take the trip to Hamburg you could talk to OBD Tuning there. They have many very nice options for the Mini with good prices. PM me if you want to have more information about the options and the company. |

| Lovin' every MINI of it! | Sam, You might also try MINI² - Willkommen - Das große New MINI Forum aus Deutschland für alle MINI2 as a source for information about German dealers. The site is in German, but there are many people there that speak English and I'm certain would be willing to help you. ![]() Unfortunetly I am down south and don't know of anyone in that area. | Flying Finn | Thanks freespeed and DaFlake, I might check in January what's on offer. First I need to get the JCW challenges sorted out and see what the outcome is. This is where I am at today... http://www.mini2.com/forum/engine-dr...o-results.html |

| Lovin' every MINI of it! | I did read that thread and agree that something is not right, but Dyno's are subjective at best. IMHO, the JCW is an OK solution but there are some aftermarket stuff that is a little better. However, it does sound like they didn't flash your ECU and this would cause some performance issues like you are seeing. Global Moderator ![]() |
