New Mini Product | Charge Cooler & Intercooler unit for CooperS Anyone had any dealings with this company or even had one of these fitted as i am very confused now which one to go for.... Offline | Yup we don't have very many hot summers here.....but was reading this part of the blurb Extensive testing using a standard intercooler and this charge cooler unit on the CooperS engine has proved beyond doubt that this unit will provide an increase in power of approx 12%, and an increase in torque of approx 20%. after reading several posts on here stating that uprated intercoolers do not increase power/torque,i was a bit intrigued |

Offline | GRS or GTT I don't think you'd be disappointed with either. I have a (pre-owned) GTT intercooler, simply because it came along at the time I was thinking of getting one. It was easy to fit and has caused no problems. I had seen reports of problems with the bellows coming off, because of the GTT floating design, when tackled as a DIY project. But using thicker silicone bellows (they came inclusive with my intercooler) seems to be the answer to this problem. If I had to choose again, I would go by price and probably get a used one again. ![]() |
