Do you have the oversized crank pulley? - how come you changed the back box part of the exhaust from the JCW to the Milltek - GTT manifold was a wise choice - couldn't that have been mated to the JCW unit?

I have the 1% oversized crank pulley, and a 16% scharger pulley.

I opted for the milltek rear exhaust as this suited the GTT manifold the best during testing. Yes, i could have fitted the GTT re-route for a cheaper option, but i thought that i could keep that JCW exhaust in one piece, sell it on, and enjoy a complete new exhaust system (relative to all the other money i was spending).

Cheers,
K

Ok cool - Did Roland talk about an Alternator pulley at all? - With your upgrade package you also had the hig power wiring/coil kit?

Well that was a review worth waiting for

Dammit man, I can see a manifold heading this way at some point
(might need to pop over to you (sometime) for a listen if you don't mind )

It's good to hear that your other parts have been sorted too

Have fun and enjoy

I do not recall the altanator pulley being changed.

I do have the 40,000 volt coil pack and leads, yes.

Cheers,
Karl.

No problems, that would be great fun - especially being a MINI modder too

Cheers,

Interesting, what year build was it?

They current models have 280bhp with nearly 400Nm of torque. Admitedly they weigh nearly 1.5 tones but they are still quick.

Cheers,
K.

Arrow Hard to say...

...but my mate who was in the car when i did a 1st gear, 2nd gear rolling start said "Oh wow, that is defo sub 5 seconds now!!"

To put the comment in context, he drives a sub 5 second car.

I smiled, but to be honest, although it feels like sub 5 seconds, until it is officially tested then i could just not say. It certainly felt like it.

I have some OBDII software that I hope to run on my car to log some key data and it has a speed trap logger on it, so may try some runs, but you gotta be safe and i think it is best left to the likes of santa pod, but to be honest, i don't want to blow my clutch just to find out how fast it actually is. It has already proven itself against the likes of the 911 and the Evo - so, as i said somewhere else on the forum recently... Nuff said

Cheers,
K.
