Offline | GTT products to Australia Hi guys. Just wondering whether anyone can help me. I have ordered 2 x GTT Intercoolers,Snoot Boots and Catch Cans which are apparently on their way to me here in Australia. The problem that I have is that Roland isn't returning my emails. He originally gave me a consignment note number, but it doesn't show up on the parcel website, saying "this number cannot be tracked electronically". I really just wanted to know if he was away on holidays or out of the office, as I am concerned that he is not returning emails. I have read in other threads that this is common for him not to respond to emails for a while. I can understand how busy he gets, but surely 30 seconds worth of typing would suffice to keep the customer at ease? It also makes it harder being so far away, as I really need to call him in the middle of the night here to get him during UK daytime. Don't get me wrong, this is not a flaming towards GTT. I am really looking forward to the product getting here and just really wanted to know when I could expect it. Thanks Matt |

| Cruising In The Minge | yeah i know how frustrating it can be waiing for stuff to arrive, luckily for me I was in the UK and called into the shop myself to pick up my bits. Maybe Roland should send me all of his best go faster bits as a reseller so folk can purchase off an aussie for ease of contact etc. ![]() 2002 PS/PS JCW MC 1970 BRG/W MK2 Morris Cooper S |

Offline | .......I've answered every email Matt sent, apart from the one 25/10/06 which was just a statement & did not require an answer/reply anyway. -I thought I was extremley efficient at answering e-mails . The Parcelforce on-line tracking system wont let you check progress of many parcels for some reason ,I even drove 15miles down the road to the Parcel Force Depot to get 'my contact' in the depot to check progress on another overseas parcel using their own internal system . How many companys are going to do that for there customers? Best Regards Roland GTT |

| Cruising In The Minge | Hi Roland I have several friends in international shipping and by all accounts DHL seem to be regarded as about the best. Not sure how their prices compare but tracking etc is very easy and the customer can see exactly where their package is at any given time. Im sure this other mob are OK too but friends in shipping say it drives them freakin mental with folk wanting to know where stuff is so they push DHL over anyone else. ![]() 2002 PS/PS JCW MC 1970 BRG/W MK2 Morris Cooper S |

Offline | DHL is certainly the best on speed, followed by Fedex. I wouldn't bother with UPS as they are totally incompetent. BUT, Royal Mail/ParcelForce are generally cheaper. But it is worth bearing in mind that they don't give a t*ss about you or your parcel, and are very good at losing parcels sent to the Southern Hemisphere, even if only temporarily. Their tracking system sucks and they don't actually guarantee delivery. Their additional compensation on loss rates are now extortionate. I have been told that a guaranteed tracked 48 hour delivery to Europe can take up to 5 days and may only be tracked within the UK, depending if the receiving couriers bother to scan the parcel at the other end. Also I have been told that using ParcelForce guaranteed 24 hour UK WILL guarantee delivery, but does not guarantee that the parcel will actually be picked up in the first place!!! . What a way to run a business. Certainly no such problems with DHL who usually turn up within 2 hours of booking the delivery. You get what you pay for. ![]() |

Offline | Roland. As mentioned, this wasn't anything negative towards you, I was just anxious to get the products. Thanks for going to the extra trouble for me, as I really appreciate it. Great products as well!!! Now to get the spanners out and fit them this weekend. ![]() |

Offline | 2.5 weeks on the net without one phone call or email. Even here outside work it gets a lot of attention but not from buyers, just from admirers. It has been very slow used sales wise lately, so it doesn't surprise me. I'm at the point where I'll give it another week or two, then if nothing, keep it. Either way i'm in a win/win situation (hot MINI which I will mod further - with a full Miltek system from you my friend - or a great BMW deal) The MINI is more fun to drive, so deep down inside I have my fingers crossed that no-one buys it. ![]() |
