Question Overall Cost of upgrading to GTT 220

I have been trying to go through all the GTT threads trying to see the difference in cost (all costs - parts, insurance, petrol, loss of TLC servicing) between having a standard MCS and the GTT packages.

Obviously, everyone likes to talk about their GTT experience so there are a substantial number of threads out there. For this reason and as I said, everyone like to talk about their GTT stuff /i was hoping people would post all or all of following info:

Which Package: (I'll look up the cost of parts)
Insurance: £+/- per year (age/sex/location - to help me gauge how close it'll be)
Petrol: £+/- per month (or new mpg) TRY to estimate what it is when your not being 'enthusiastic'!
Servicing Cost: Oil service/Inspection 1 or 2 per time (apparently the TLC is voided if you modify)

I need a rough guess so that I can see what I'll be getting myself into!! I can afford the job being done as I have been saving but I need to be able afford to run the thing otherwise the Mrs will not be happy holidaying in a tent (she is a lady of luxury apparently ).

Thanks for taking the time to helping me out - after all it is for a good cause.

Which Package: Parts listed in here
Insurance: Prices in here 39 at renewal, full clean licence (for the moment ) Garaged in Huddersfield
Petrol: mpg seems about the same (daily driving)......I'm just driving it more so fuel bill is higher
Servicing Cost: No idea, but if there's any hassle with TLC I know a friendly mechanic

Not sure if any of that helps you

As for the lady of luxury........how about a luxurious tent

4. GTT Snoot Boots (Awaiting Delivery)
5. JCW Exhaust

The insurance is sounding positive considering the mods

I'm with Green Light Insurance and they specifically state that to "add a GTT 220 kit will add approx £40 to the premium"

I already have 18" wheels, AP brakes, Leda coilovers, GTT induction, oil catch can and Quicksilver exhaust. Insurance including all mods is currently £975.00 but then i am in London, 24 yr old and only 1 Yr NCB.... hope this helps.

Incidentally, fuel consumption is supposed to get better following the GTT220 conversion and i recently had a TLC service and although the BMW dealers frowned upon my mods they serviced my MCS anyway ....
