Adding JCW exhaust

Hi Guys,

Wondering if you can help me - I have a MINI Cooper with a JCW Sound Kit, and full aero kit.

I have seen an M2er with a JCW exhaust for sale; and would love that on my MINI - few questions that you can hopefully help me with.

1) Is it possible to fit this centrally mounted exhauset on the car - if so, do I require extra parts?
2) Will the exhaust note be similar to the Cooper Works sound kit?
3) Will this in any way affect the warranty... it is a JCW part...

Thanks guys!

It's possible to fit a standard S exhaust with some modification, so I'd think it'll be the same if you want to fit a JCW S exhaust. But, there's no point. Apart from the look (the centre exit) you'll gain nothing; in fact you'll probably lose some power. Stick with the nice JCW exhaust you've already got is my advice.

Loose power? Ow...

I thought it would stay the same, but just look cooler...

Thanks for the advice Sebby!

My boyfriend had a JCW exhaust on his re mapped Mini one - Some of you may remember it from a Lohen track day last August - Yellow with gloss black S Spokes, broke down at the entrance to bruntingthorpe as the drive shaft snapped!!

He had Cooper S bumpers on it, and all he had to do was get some new bumper mouldings - It looked really nice.

MODS - Cooper S Bumpers, Aero Side Skirts, Aero front grille, Sony GT500 H/U, 17" Bullet alloys, ECU Remap & JCW Brake conversion
