| MINI2 Newbie | Ive considered running my next car on this, Does anyone know of any MCS running on this stuff and what you'd need to do get one running on it and how much it would cost? Also how easy it would be to revert back to OE spec for resale? Also where could you have the work carried out or could GTT, Lohan, BBR etc do it? |

| The Power Cube | The fuel is not widely sold, and unless your car is power modified I don't think it makes too much difference - it's all relative. So for the cost of converting your car to run on the BioEthanol (if indeed it does need converting) then you'd probably be best off just using Octane Booster - again, only really suited to modified cars I think. | MINI2 Newbie | I agree you probably get better result on a higher powered/ performance car compared to a normal car, but ford sell a Bioethanol Focus so most car must benefit to a degree. Ive looked for info about it but there seems to be very little, also if Bhp/Lb ft are increased by using it then (dependant of cost and said increases) it could be justified the same as any performance mod. Just need more info and wider availability. I know someone who works for Ford so I might ask him about it or to get some info. |
