Just ordered my Milltek exhaust today for my MCS, i originally intended to get it from Minispeed in surrey as they quoted me 460 fitted, but been trying for the last 2 days to book in, and after 4 calls from me they never even phoned back, there loss.Anyway, in desperation of where else in the south east would do it, i thought i would try a long shot and try the VW tuners i used to use on my SEAT, so phoned Big Boys Toys in Thurrock and they said, no probs, when do you want to come in, and they have done it for 420 fitted so a nice little saving.So just got to wait till next friday to get it fitted, can't wait as the Milltek results i have seen on here sound very nice.is it worth keeping my standard exhaust system?????

I've kept my standard system, in case I choose to revert to standard when I come to sell it.

Ive got the Milltek and i ****in love it!!! The noise is amazing! high quality sound and looks. Just after 4000rpm is the sweetest sounding note and from outside the car ( if you let someone else drive off ) well WOW!

Great result mate.
Im a vw revert and been to BBT a few times with my golf so when the time comes i'll know where to go!

I have the milltek and a milltek manifold/cat...its the poodles preverbial hanging down bits. Not too expensive but british made and decent quality...plus actually provides some power results unlike some exhausts you can buy for other vehicles. It can be a bugger to get the alignment right but once thats spot on its mint...especially with the manifold to make it really roar on heavy right footed use

£420 was a great price though for fitted.

Mine was £375 for both mani and exhaust fitted .... but then mine was a 5k miles second hand set-up

yeah i was always going to go for Milltek as they are such a good company.

My Old Seat Ibiza 1.8T was the development car for the milltek exhaust for the mk4 ibiza. I left the car with them for a week and got a virtually free system. And after they showed me the amount of work they put into every exhaust, the sound tresting at many many levels, the welding , the fitting tests.

And if you ever have a problem, ever, you just pick up the phone to the factory and they will say, bring it in and we will sort it. One of the best exhaust manufacturers in the country

got the Milltek on today, and all i can say is WOW,

Done 100 miles on it today, and coupled with the JCW modded airbox, it really seems to fly now, It really goes to show how restrictive the standard inlets and outlets are,

And the sound,

Very very nice, pops and crackles on overun, but as ever, with any Milltek exhaust cruising on the motroway at 70 sounds hardly any different to standard, but giv it some beens and whoa yeah, Went through the dartford tunnel tonight and it sounded th ****, christ knows what it would have been lie with the manifold as well, i really am tempted now!!!!!!
