Retrofitting DSC to an ASC+2 car

I recently purchased a 2nd hand (demo) coopers S checkmate. It only has ASC+T, its fully loaded with options, but missing the only option I was interested in (but the price was FANTASTIC) so I bought it.

Question is, whether its possible to retrofit DSC?

In short. Forget it. Too much to do, and so much to spend. Even the ABS module is different.

While this thread is new...

is it possible to add traction control to a car without it? I'd really like it adding... BMW or elsewhere...

LSD? really? nice to know- I was told it did- but I dont always believe the dealers..
Shame, I thought it would just be a matter of a different control module being plugged in..

As for traction control.. in my lotus elise- i have fitted Racelogic- EXCELLENT and is also the system used by lotus when they offer TC in their cars.

I highly recommend the system

Yeh, racelogic systems are supposed to be brilliant, because they have different settings, so you can have it for saftey, or as basically a race type traction controll.. iirc its about 500 quid.
