Offline | JCW Sound Kit Hi everyone... I have a 06 Cooper and for the past few weeks have been thinking about having the JCW sound kit installed on it. Im not really interested in aftermarket products as I want to keep my 3 year warrenty and 5 yr tlc. Anyone had it and recommend it? whats the sound like? Alex |

Offline | Hi and welcome to MINI2. Do a titles only search for sound kit and you will find loads of threads. Have a read of the sound kit register to see what those that have fitted it think, and there is plenty on insurance etc about too. Couple of links below as a start http://www.mini2.com/forum/mini-coop...-register.html http://www.mini2.com/forum/mini-coop...-kit-cost.html I have had the sound kit on both my Coopers and wouldn't be without it. Improves the drivability no end. Some will tell you the kit is the best thing they ever did, whilst those that chose aftermarket will swear they did the right thing. My advice if you are thinking about the sound kit is this. 1. Get yourself a test drive in a car with the kit on. May be a bit more difficult now the R56 is out. 2. Don't pay any more than the M2 offer price from Woodmans. If you are too far from Woodmans get your dealer to match the price, they usually will. Group buy link below. http://www.mini2.com/forum/group-buy...ight=sound+kit Hope this helps. ![]() MODERN MINI OSCARS 2008 - BEST COOPER NOMINEE |

Offline | and try here (the official JCW site): MINI - John Cooper Works - MINI Cooper Sound Kit Humph's right - ask around for price - you can get it loads cheaper than "list". Got it done on mine for exactly the reasons you mentioned (insurance, warranty, etc.) - & it is well, well worth it. ![]() |
