HAS ANYONE MODIFIED THEIR AIRBOX IN ANYWAY ???? WHAT IF YOU CUT THE TOP OFF, SILICONED IN A K&N FILTER ???

Don't see how this could work. The outlet is in the top! Maybe take the bottom off??

I'm trying to work out a deal with a filter manufacturer for an intake kit.... this is one of his other products. I'll see if I can get some for you experimenters if I actually do get an account with him.

Your best off taking the bottom of the airbox off and finding a big drill bit and making the bottom of the box like swiss cheese. If you then put some ram pipes to the bottom of the box the air intake sould be stronger. My mate did this and managed to get a 8bhp increase in power when the car was put on a rolling road.
