do u think this would be wise??

right have the mini lowered 30mm all round,rear is nice n low but front is still too high,thinking about cutting frt spring down a bit to lower her down,wise idea or not,let me know or if there is a 50mm kit out there even better

If you cut the spring, it'll just be shorter but still the same stiffness... you'll be giving the dampers a lot of stick, and probably the bump stops too...

I don't think it'll be long before a 50mm drop kit is out

Just don`t do it, its not a wise idea. Your car will handle like a bag of **** once it has been done. Your better off getting lower springs or djustable shock and doing it properly. My mate wanted to do it to his Citreon after he had droped the rear torsion bar the same amount as the front springs on his AX the back sat lower due to all the ice in the boot and he wanted to angle grind a couple of loops of the PI srings he had on the front the Guys who lowered the back told him not to do it as it would wreck the handling.

cut springs

Because the springs are narrower at the top and bottom, you won't be able to cut them: they won't fit on the spring perches.

To be honest it handled really well. It was just it was that hard it removed the filling from your teeth when you went over a bump. Although they wernt as bad as the full adjustable G max setup my mate had on his XR3i now that was suvere!
