omg... much of a difference is not the words!!

haha... The 57i induction kit sounds immense! The 1st modification to my MC was one of these kits & I was astounded at how much different the noise of the intake was.
The JCW soundbox is pants in comparison sound wise & probably about the same amount in bhp gains to the 57i.

If it made peoples head turn on the street when you put you're foot down & all you've got is an induction kit fitted... then it must be loud!

Try it... you wont be disappointed!

I think I ought to market a set of speaker horns that go "Whooosh" when you put your foot down,
.... and go "Pschhhhhhpt" whenever you change gear
.... and "Phaaarrrrt" when you Brake

How much does your insurance generally go up when you fit something like the 57i K&N?

Does anyone have a sound file that shows the difference?

This is a tempting buy....

on a cooper (R50) that is...

What sort of difference does it make to the sound when you press the "loud pedal", does it change the note as well as volume?

changes note and volume.....

difficult to describe, but I would say, it makes the car sound V-tec esc and the volume goes up by a power of 2.

It does sound very growly...

I drove a Cooper with a sound kit today (Courtosy car).

57i wil make a MASSIVE difference.

Sound kit was nice, but 57i will be much louder.
