GTT Manifold w/ Stock Exhaust

Hiya all - Happy New Year!

Any help would be appreciated on the following:
Im considering buying one of the 2 following ideas

1) Buying a GTT Manifold and keeping my stock Cooper S exhaust, and maybe getting a GTT re-route pipe at a later date

2) Buying a Milltek exhaust system (not a manifold)

Im mainly after a sound improvement, love the sound of the Millteks and have seen quite a few videos and sound clips around the forum, but havent really ever heard just the GTT manifold with stock exhaust, so I've got nothing to compare it to.
I understand the manifold is the better route for improving BHP figures, but it is also the more expensive and the main reason I would be buying would be for sound improvement.

Thanks for any help!

Just bought a Mini Cooper S !!

If sound is your main buying criteria then go for the Milltek exhaust system.

Cheers

Mod

I'd say the GTT manifold is more important, with the reroute.

i am also selling a jcw rear exhaust if interested.

260 GTT, what did you replace the JCW exhaust with to make it worth the cost?

If you want more sound keep the stock exhaust and put in the GTT manifold. Gets real loud. Add the re-route pipe to gain a bit more loudness and performance.

Iv ran GTT manifold with standard exhaust, GTT manifold with Milltek, and now GTT manifold. GTT de-cat pipe and Milltek.

The GTT manifold and standard exhaust was quite a nice comby, added more agrresion etc but for me the noise was just to raspy, and not deep enough. The milltek adds a more aggresive noise and a more unique sound. In my opinion it would be milltek and GTT manifold together every single time bar nothing! still loving it!
