Offline | The Mini One with the Chip will produce about 120 BHP at the wheels and with a filter and exhaust u would be lucky to see 130BHP. From what i've read there is only one exhaust that has been designed to give the mini more power. Most exhaust manufacturers don't even test there exhausts systems on a car! The mini has a very restrictive exhaust and a free flowing exhaust will give it a better sound but u will LOSE power. Autofashion have designed an exhaust which has been dyno tested on a Cooper and produces more power. I can't wait till someone brings out a turbo kit for the Mini! The only risk in life is to take no risk! |

| MINI2 Senior | Exhaust test Actually Supersprint is one of the few companies that does test their systems. I have Dyno results and as I recall the mini cooper did gain about 4-5 H.P. I will have a Mini cooper install and test result and, cut away on this site soon. Supersprint mini site The cooper "S" system has just been tested with headers back to tail pipe. about 19hp. That will be posted also |

Offline | how about 110bhp in a one from just the exhaust. www.newminisport.com do a complete exhaust from engine too tailpipe including sport cat and 4 branch manifold for around 700 quid. just add the JCW filter or piper and the superchip. should see 145bhp and save u some money. Plus they are all bolt on mods, so shouldnt do too much harm to the warranty. Live for now. 'cos it only happens once MCS, DS/B, Pepperoni Pack,Not any more, lost job, now got an L reg 1.7 turbo diesel astra. ARGHHHH!!! |

Offline | must depend on the dealer then. paragon MINI( my dealer) said that anything bold on and that can be removed and put back to standard wthout damage to the car is fine, so long as whatever goes wrong isnt directley related to the mods. My dealer will even fit the mods for you, for £35/ hour labour . just fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong.![]() Live for now. Offline | Not stealing the thread but, do not touch autofashion with a barge pole. I have an outstanding county court judgement against them for failure to deliver an induction kit. Their business address is actually his parents address and as such you just loose your money. If autofashion wish to dispute this I have no problem with discussing it in an open forum. Was a 1, now 1 of 150 in a 40 |
