Hi all

I've received my Pipercross cone filter today and have fitted it - sounds excellent, can't believe the change for something so simple!

I have got a quick fitting question though about the "rubber band" that is provided. Should this be fitted around the aluminium intake pipe (i.e. inside the OEM rubber intake hose part) or over the end of the rubber hose (i.e. between the jubilee clip and the rubber hose)?

The instructions which came with the filter aren't clear - I've fitted it under the jubilee clip at the minute as this seem most intuitive, and it seemed far too loose when fitted to the alloy pipe. Would be good to check I'm right or wrong!

And yes, before you ask, I've done a search but turned up nothing

I never had that when I fitted one a while ago... weird. I'm sure you'll be fine aslong as the pipe was a good fit on the filter and its done up nicely.

I have the same filter and did not get a rubber band with mine. I just jubille clipped it onto the rubber hose?
