Offline | Midland Transmission Oil The Texaco MTF94 is very hard to get other than my dealer who wanted $300 and had none in stock thank god. This prompted me to do some research this oil is a API-GL4 SAE70W80 so you could use Amsoil MTF, RedlineMTL,Castrol VMX (SEMI SYNT) and Shell Spirax GSX.The first two would be my pick,i'm shure there's others if you look hard enough.I used Amsoil as it was available never heard of it but turns out it's a very high quality oil on par with the Redline some say better.I can tell you that my box feels alot better now and the Texaco that came out did not look like something that i would want to leave in there for a lifetime,i did this on the recomendation of Minimania and thank you for that. Change your tranny oil guys!!! |
