Those plugs will do nothing for you. If you do a reduction pulley at 15% they still won't do much for you. To top it off, the Denso plugs have a habit of blowing out causing the need to helicoil your head. I run MTH with a 15% reduction pulley on STOCK plugs with no problems. You don't need them.

If I were you, I would avoid them like the plague.

JCW does use cooler plugs but they are NKG and they are made for that kit and even then I would buy from MINI directly. I have heard too many horror stories.

I'd agree with that.

The dealer should have them. Like I said earlier, they are NGK, but I have no idea if they are specially made for JCW which is why I would buy them there rather than on the local market.

The NGK site has a listing for MINI but the Denso does not. So people that are running Denso are taking a risk of a blowout.

......Or use NGK Iridiums which are the best of the lot. With a smaller pulley one grade colder is advisable for extra engine insurance. Check out our website ,they are only £34+vat (set of 4), and much higher spec than stock or JCW which are only a multi earth electrode standard tipped plug. You can get a good clue to the true spec/quality of the JCW plug by first checking the price of the stock plug (from NGK stockist not BMW !) ...about £4 each IIRC. Then suddenly in one grade colder (which on no other plug made does this make any difference to the price BTW) ,its exclusive to BMW so the price is hiked to around £15 each!
Best Regards Roland GTT
