Jcw Vs Aftermarket

I has a 2003 mini cooper currently with a JCW exhaust.

I am looking to convert the rear of the car so it has a center exhaust as it is the last exterier part i need to complete my cooper s replica.

i love the noise out of the JCW as it sounds more like a race mini rather than a chavy mini.

What center exhaust would you guys reccomend that would give the same noise or better (if thats possible) i dont mind if the noise is louder but aslong as it has the same sort of grunt out of it.

I no alot of the mini owners hate cooper s replica's and i no that u disagree with it and think it looks stupid. so i dont want this thread to end up being every1 fighting over whether it looks stupid or not. So can we please stick to advice and maybe some pictures if possible. Bcuz i dont want to start another arguement over this topic

thanks every1 any comments will be greatly appreciated because im really stuck on what to buy as i love the noise at the minite.

Think everyone's frowning upon you lol. A MCS exhaust or a MCS JCW exhaust could be fitted. I know JP on here fitted a MCS exhaust to his one and oneD fitted one to his diesel.

I dont know, you could make a one ball MCS exhaust. MCS exhaust can be picked up alot cheaper than a playmini or other. Jp's one sounds good.

fitting a standard or jcw cooper s exhaust will make your cooper lose power as it is not designed for it. Getting a twin centre exit aftermarket exhaust specifically for the cooper would be best. There is two different ones for sale at lohen the best one in my opinion is the Hamann one. Link here:

Actually I think that you have the best exhaust for your MINI. As Crammy said, you will lose power going the other direction. Sounds like the next upgrade will be to an actual MCS....

Good luck... FYI, you might want to ease up on the text speak as it really isn't allowed on the forums.

Pretty much all of this....

It should have been typed...

I would have had a Cooper S but the insurance companies don't like 17 year olds. So, it had to be a cooper.

Basically don't substitute anything for a word. The reason for this is that we have a large global audience and some people may not understand what you are trying to say.

i put standard s exhaust on my cooper and it didn't seem to loose any power if anything seemed to be a tad quicker, just a warning tho make sure what ever you get is fitted properly coz my s exhaust was only on 2 brackets wen shud of been on at least 4 n the left side bracket gave in from weight and hanging down and the exhaust was always really bouncy. if you want a good sound try jcw cooper s exhaust
