Hi all,

I'm relatively new on this site, I'm looking to fit a Playmini cat-back system on my '05 MCS, I've been trying to get as much information on the system as possible and after trawling through the site for some time I gathered quite a bit of comparison information but...

Has anyone on here actually had one fitted?

How have you got on with it?

Any info would be appreciated.

got a cat back on our cooper and one and cant fault them fantastic systems give them a call, google play minin and get info, had mine 2 yrs now brillaint thing.

Millteks system is a touch louder and more powerful but playmini offer a slightly better fit and different tail finishing options. They are very good but its generally considered that power wise the milly is a touch better. I know that Ade (Beastmaster has one on his Cooper, not sure but his S might also)

I've got the Playmini cat back system on my 05 MCS and love it.

I've also got the straight through center section.

I've got it fitted better now.

Can't agree with you on the Miltek being louder.

The Twin back box Miltek is a lot quieter than the Play MINI.

I love my Play MINI

Its a bit loud on the motorway initially but you get used to it. Plus if you don't have a facelift (i,e, the lower ratios) its quieter anyway

They did different versions

Mine didn't have a centre silencer...

...maybe thats what makes it louder than my mates Play MINI (also has a straight through on his Miltek)
