Any Recomendations???

Im looking in to a smaller pulley for my S and a oversized crank pulley!

the ones i have got my eye on is

Alta 15% S/C Pulley or the Alloy one that MiniSpeed have as an aftermarket pulley??
Alta 2% Crank Pulley
GTT Limit stop incase of a Snapped belt
GTT Stickier Belt

would you's recomend any other items such as

Alta Nator pulley???
or the other items GTT have such as Tensioner pulley and Twin bearing idler pulley

The reasons im asking is im limited on a few hundred quid so im wondering if just the top 4 items will be okay without the tensioner pulley etc etc!

Regards Scott

I would go with the GTT 17% Supercharger pulley mate, its cheaper than the Alta one and also the fitting method is designed in the same way as standard (it heats up and expands, thenn shrinks onto the supercharger and wont ever come off, whereas the Alta one just kind of bolts together)

The go with the GTT 1% Lightened crank pulley.

I reckon thats a pretty good combo

Just bought a Mini Cooper S !!

I cant go with that as GTT Pulley as they wont supply it via mail order and im not willing to drive that far for just a pulley as its a 650 mile round trip! otherwise i would! if i save im hoping for the GTT 220+ package but i want a bit extra power now with the few hundred quid i do have!

Get the Alta V2 as this one is bolted on. It will prevent the situation in the picture if you ever want to change a pulley again (happened to me trying changing the compressor to a facelift one). You can also re-use the Alta because it is not destroyed when pulled of as with heat schrunk pulleys.
The GTT crank pulley has similar system but a ring is still shrunk on. You can however change the GTT crank pulley with another GTT crank pulley by just releasing and tightening bolts the next time you want another crank pulley.

I have an old skool v1 Alta 15% pulley and it's been working a treat for me. The v2 one looks pretty nifty though.

I'm very happy with my mods, nothing too extreme at all, but seems to be effective enough for me...
