United-Kingdom Dyno results, cooper s with just a pulley

Hi,

Anybody out there got dyno results and general feedback after fitting just a reduction pulley. At the moment I have got the JCW supercharger fitted and I really need convincing that modifying the ECU is going to give me better performance.

Haven't got any dyno results with just a pulley, but from what I've learnt, I wouldn't bother with an ECU remap.

i suggest you speak to Roland at GTT for a quick run through on ECU's etc.

But as said, you may not need to bother due to adaptability of the standard ECU

You ECU will adapt to the way the engine is running, it will adjust the short term fuel trim along with the timing to suit the pulley.
You may need to reset the ecu for this to happen.

I only think you get problems when you start hitting around 180whp.

I'm trying to get a little more power out of my S. Will there be any more power available by doing the MTH ECU remap if I fit a 15 or 16% pulley?

Hi, the best option would be a GTT +3% crank pulley. We can evaluate whether you need (or would benefit ) from remapping once this is done.
Best Regards Roland GTT

Check out my thread;

This is my S with a 17% pulley plus a JCW Motorsport air filter.
