Offline | Best way to get to 220hp I have a standard MCS Chilli. I have already performed the one-ball exhaust mod. I'm chasing approx 220-225hp. My plans are to fit a 15-16% supercharger pulley, and the MTH ECU Remap. How much power should this net me, and what more will I need to do to get to the goal of 220hp? I don't want to lose the factory refinement and NVH levels, so keeping it smooth, reliable, and quiet is important to me, I just want extra grunt. |

Offline | Ours makes those figures with a one ball, 15% pulley, cam shaft and ex manifold. You more than welcome to come and have a road test Slicks 11.77@115.92mph Street tyres 12.162 @ 119.02 It's not how much you spend but how well you spend it |

Offline | I see the lohen kit acheives 210bhp with a 15% pulley, belt, air filter, spark plugs, and a remap. Well I can do all of that here with the M7 16% pulley, the MTH remap, intake and spark plugs which are all available locally. With the one-ball and the slightly smaller pulley this should see me perhaps just above 210hp... which will keep me happy. |

Offline | I wouldn't bother with the remap if you are after 220 at the fly,I'm not sure why people offer a remap so early on,when the ECU will adapt it self. The stock injectors should be ok power wise up to 230ish at the flywheel. |

Offline | But if the remap will make for smoother power delivery, fuel economy and the extra rev limit, and give a little more power than I'm happy. What I want to know is what it's going to take to get me there. |

Offline | Manifold (MILLTEK/JANSPEED/GTT), Good Cold Air Intake (GTT/ALTA), 15% + Pulley, Sparks and maybe an Exhaust and modded bypass valve. With good parts you should make 220 ish easy. If you get JCW injectors and ALTA/GTT/GRS intercooler you'll be up to around 230+ |

Offline | I wouldnt bother with a remap unless you have a fuelling problem but I cant see it myself. 17% Pulley, Intake, one ball and just enjoy it. Chasing horsepower is a bad way to be! Just enjoy the new torque of the car and not worry about its HP. ![]() |
