Well had my Milltek exhuast on since December, was brand new etc, but the tailppes are rusting like a good un, have cleaned as normal, not used nay abrasive polish or anything, but still rusting away.

Best thing to do? should i just take it back and demand a replacement as it was meant to be stainless steel of a high quality which it appears not. What you lot reckon

I would at least have a chat with them and give them the chance to correct the problem. I am sure they would appreciate the chance to have a very satisfied customer rather than a disgruntled one.

If you don't get any joy out of them then I would start kicking up.

My milly tailpipes also have spots of rust on them. I polish it out with silvo every couple of months ... but then mine gets some real stick from stones and stuff and also is about 40k miles and 2 years old :roll:

Try some metal polish, certainly makes mine shine

just use metal polish, youll probably find little bits are dried deposits from the exhaust and road that bake on as obviously the exhaust gets v hot...........just dont polish off the bit that says Milltek
