Induction Kit Fitment

Hi,

I have just purchased an Induction Kit for my MINI ONE, removed the airbox and piping and tried to install it. It doesnt appear to fit

I purchased an APIRO kit of Ebay, its title indicated it was for the MINI Cooper/ONE.

Does anyone on here have any pictures of their induction kits fitted in their MINI ones that they could post, just so i can look at the routings used by other people.

I am guessing by the price of this induction kit it is only a universal one, i did notice in the guys feedback that 2 people had fitted it to thier MINI Coopers' and given positive feedback. Was it anyone on here?????

I think i will try to fit the induction filter to the original pipework later this evening and see how that goes.

Thanks

Jango.

YOU UNCLIP THE ORIGINAL AIRBOX ,TOP AND BOTTOM , JUBILEE CLIP THE CONE ON TO THE ORIGINAL PIPE WORK & THE TUBE CONNECTS TO THE FRONT OF THE CAR TO DRAW COLD AIR . CHECK OUT pipercross.co.uk FOR PICS. IT REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE & SOUNDS GREAT.

I had another go last night, Unfortunately the connection on the Cone is too big to fit on the orginal piping.

I am still waiting for a response from the EBAY seller as the goods appear to be misdescribed and not fit for purpose!!!!!

What is it at the moment with EBAY, my last couple of purchases have been a bloody nightmare!!!!!

It is not uncommon for you to have to heat the tube to get it to slide on. I know a guy that had to do this with the M7 air filter kit. In fact, even mine was a little tight (MINI-Madness CAI).
