im sort off thinking about an exhaust change and have heard of the jcw sound kit so i was wondering what it is what its like and do they still do it im presuming u go to the bmw dealers for it if they still do it and how much does it effect your insurance if anyone one has some quotes that would help oh and how much does it cost to have done thanks in advance for any help provide

my local dealer (sandal) quoted me £675 fitted inc VAT but woodmans is doing it at £620 special offer.

well i phoned up 11 insurance co's and not one would insure me on it, even though bmw do not claim any official bhp increse. i was told that i would have to be 19 to be insured with it (17 now) but i know of loads of people who havnt even bothered to tell the insurer... bit risky.
